Drawing on everything I see, hear, read, experience or remember, I am an artist who makes work which frequently incorporates stitch and knit. Found objects, recycled materials, charity shops, old postcards and books, aged quilts, nonsense rhymes and folk tales are important sources of inspiration, coupled with a love of colour and an obsession with process and the hand-made. I also make one-off books – see my entry on www.artistsbooksonline.com
